Hi All,

I've had my 690 for just under a year now, now the other week I noticed I was getting weird performance in FF14 where it would stick at around 20fps, no matter what settings I was playing it.

Due to the game being in beta I never gave it another thought, but I've been playing a few other games recently and have been having the same problems.

I've looked at the temperatures and GPU1 is constantly sitting at around 80C even if I'm just sat on the desktop idle. GPU2 happily sits at around 43.

I've ensured that the fans are working on the card and even put the fans to 100% but this only brings it down to 70C when on idle.

I've even rolled back to 314.22 drivers to see if it is a driver issue but again this doesn't seem to have helped. Anyone have any experience with this kind of issue? Any help would be appreciated.

What is that core like at load? or is it around 80c at load as well?

80c-85c at load is fine for these cards.

Well I just ran the benchmark at the highest setting and it finished with 63C on GPU1 and the same on GPU2.

Now sitting here in idle I am watching the GPU1 temp go up currently at 76C and GPU2 temp has gone down to 47C.

I'm starting to feel like something might be up with GPU1.

Also have cleaned out what little dust there was in the card and still getting this! :(
