gtx 670 2gb or 4gb

We'll have plenty of 670 users to test out BF4 when the game finally comes, i'll even buy it to test all the cards i own (a lot...) both at highest settings and at highest playable settings, gives me something to do :D

Agreed.

Personally i can't wait to see what the vram usage is going to be. Fascinating but geeky stuff. Forget synthetic benchmark yawn fest. Game benchmarks and vram usage is where its at. Lol.

I think I should be ok for a while :D

I'll say. :p

Has there been any rumours of a in game benchmark for BF4?

Good find :)

Good find indeed.

:)

I was looking for this article the other day but couldn't find it. Fair play to the 4gb 680.

Iv'e been looking for it for ages too and could never find it.:o

Like me and others have said time and time again. 2gb is fine. I'm not worried the slightest.

:p

Why are you asking me? :p

I'd either wait for the new cards or if you don't plan to upgrade grab some 3gb amd cards for Battlefield 4. Given the msi 7970 price id go for two of those.

Because you keep convincing me to get 2x7950s ;)

It could be a while before the 9950s are out. I'm wondering if the 7970s are now going to plummet close to £200 given all these deals.

Well the 7950's are great if you're on a budget. If i could have afforded 7970's i would have got those instead. But at that time the 7970's i wanted were out of my budget so i settled for 7950's.

If i was going for a cheap 7950 now it would be this one.

Go with your heart. I think you want an AMD card so you need to decide to upgrade now or wait. Considering 2x7950/70 will likely be faster than the 9970 id go with that personally as im finding multi gpu much better than it was last time i used it.

:D

What you can't wait a month and a half? If AMD comes out with something that beats a 780 I'll get AMD this time around. If there cheaper then a 780 that is?

The launch price of the 9970 isn't known though - if it's £500 or so I'll have wished I got 2x7950s. I've no idea when the 9950s will be out.

That's why I'm sitting tight on all these deals. I want to see what AMD do. If it disappointing I'll stay with Nv.

I could return the 670 and stick with my 7850 until the new GPUs are out (that'd be the most sensible thing to do). Just losing out on the current 7950/7970 deals could turn out disappointing. I guess getting the 680 would be a bit silly when I'd want to replace it within 6 months.
