does anyone know if...

right does any one know if i can fit Corsair Vengeance ram (the spiky heat sink version)
along side the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and the motherboard is Asus M5A97 Evo R2.0
does any one have this configuration that will tell me it fitts or will i have to get a low profile ram

Sorry cant help with the cooler size mate...but that ram is pretty high i know that much i had that ram and ended up taking the heat sinks off ...and to be honest i always had problems with that ram too ...can you not find anything lower ?

I also removed the heatsinks and my 2000MHz ram is stable at anywhere between 1850 and 2000MHz. I have loosened the timings to CL11 though. I run 2 slots of corsair vengeance and two of patriot black viper 2133MHz. 16GB in total with a Phanteks 140mm cooler on a crosshair board.

The was only 1/3 the price when I bought it form here last year, RAM prices really have shot up

You can get a low profile version of the corsair vengeance Ram. I always go for low profile, you never know when you might want to add a big cooler
