*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Quite like the two-tone style of the new controllers! Still, nothing compares to the epic transparent blue Dual Shock from the PS1. :D

What like mine

Yup! That's the one I had too, I also had the green one but that wasn't nearly as good looking. I even had matching memory cards! :D

Cheating? I'm just an aggressive driver and like to love tap bumpers Ayrton Senna style.

If there are other drivers slowing down for a hairpin are you the kind of person online who will just plough into the back of everyone for the lulz? If so you should probably be playing Need for Speed and Burnout, not Forza and GT.

No I don't just plough into people for the lulz but when you get into someone's slip stream and fight to get into the corner first, contact can't always be avoided.

i actually like taking the inside and using their car as like a guide rail HAHA

You do know that you don't get punished for that stuff in GT5, right? Well, not in A-Spec mode anyway. :p
I got penalized regularly for clipping other vehicles and I'm talking a brush if that which spoilt the game for me. I guess the creators behind GT haven't seen Touring or Daytona car racing before.

I can honestky say im a barger in driving games, ill run you off the road, clip ur bumper so you spin when close to a finish line so i can win, problem is too many driving games have catch up mode so barging ppl off the track doesnt really matter much now-a-days. But saying that i dont really play driving games that much espically online as ppl tend to throw abuse at you thru the mics for some reason  :p

Did you ever play Dirt 2 online? You sound like every single other player on that blasted game! :p

"Ohh a good start, now the tricky first corner, if I come out of this ok I know i'll stand a good chance of winning!"

*Perfect speed, hugging the apex, beautiful control*

"Aww yiss gonna be a good race for me!"

*Everyone behind you crashes into you at full speed, spinning you 7million degrees and you end up facing backwards further up the track from where you actually started, 20 seconds behind all the other suicidal loons.

"MOTHER *******!"

Vita Im not too sure about still, ultimately its only really on my radar due to PS+ which isnt really the way it should be. I await the PS4 second screen app and see how that delivers, though I suspect the Vita will be a better experience, especially if they actually bother to do things like it being the rear view mirror in driving games or something.

I just cant think of places where I need to play away from my PS4 and will have a good enough connection/time to actually bother to do it. Its a great draw just when I look at it realistically it will go the same way as my DS did - sold...

ps3ud0

yeah reading that yoshida interview on cvg and he says there not really bothered about having 2 screens active at once as we only have one set of eyes, im sure devs could use it in that way if they wanted to but i have to agree with him, you can look at everything.

as for the remote play if you can play ok over the internet i can see it being a great seller for the vita, especially for anyone working a very slow paced job where theres wifi. if i get back doing nights again it would be a godsend.

What would be a cool feature is if they did remote play from ps4 to ps3. Surely the ps3 hardware will be able to handle it and it will make up for the lack of backwards compatibly. It will stop the massive influx of people selling their ps3s, hopefully developers will continue to make games for it.

I, personally just don't see the point of getting a vita for remote play, till there's some vita games that I can't get on my play stations. Even thou the cost of it has gone down, I looked at the games and thought not just yet.

The chances are that nearly everyone has a 2nd/3rd/4th tv that they can plug their ps3 into, use as a dumb terminal and stream there game from the ps4. Vita looks good hardware wise, but there's no games that I want that's not on the ps3 at the moment, cross play not really a selling point; unless you work away from home or use public transport.
