How do I describe these pieces of furniture?

Avoiding the obvious 'omglol' comments of old/tatty/annoying/useless/cheap etc I'm trying to help sort out moving on some furniture

The problem is, even to freecycle them if we call no joy in getting any sort of value, I don't really know how best to describe them.

I've seen the design in several peoples homes, which makes me think they were some sort of mainstream design in the 1970s/1980's when I am guessing they are from, so if anyone can help with that bit as well as the fact one is a 'ornate dresser' and the other is a 'central bookcase with glass fronted cupboards' ...or whatever they are ! ... that would ace.

Pictures below, excuse the random stuff all over them, they are currently in a spare room for storage:

Are those two photo's not of the furniture he's trying to move on?

Yes they are, but my question was more how the hell do I describe the advert to go with the pictures.... 'Wooden Furniture' is rather vague, and the pieces look to my totally untrained eye to both be different kinds of dressers, of which I don't know if there is a proper name to describe the design.

I think a trawl of used furniture on ebay might be in order. It's time consuming but you might just find someone selling something similar.
