I commented the other day you'll be more than welcome to join the group i play BF3 with.
As BF4 has 64 players on XB1 getting 2 squads of 5 together on the same server should be no problem.

Notice they've ramped up the unlock tree with pistols and carbines etc.. ranking up separately to your normal progression.
Previously the all class weapons such as pistols and PDWs ranked up with your rank. Ie unlock the 870 at rank 5 etc...

Hopefully this will extend the longevity of the upgrades.
In another video, someone confirmed the PS4 was running 1080p 60fps but it was still an early build and only running 16 players.
I just read it's 720p60.

Unacceptable for next gen IMO. 1080p should be the standard for all games. It's 2013 not 2006
The DICE showcase at the EA Gamescon event specifically said 60fps 64 player for all next gen consoles. No wonder they didn't mention the resolution
Still 720p @ 60fps is still much better than we had on BF3. Still disappointing its not true 1080p.

I think a lot of us guessed it meant that, always going to be better for a dev to drop resolution to maintain the bells and whistles, all you can hope is that its a stable unwavering 60fps, a solid frame rate just makes games feel so much better.
Still looks tempting enough to buy though

already got my pre order in for the XB1 version Spotted those prices earlier today. Can't see XB1 games getting much cheaper than that at launch.

I just hope it has some AA, as 720 up scaled to 1080 may leave it looking a little jaggy around the edges.

Nope, on a game like this all I want is for it to look good, play great, and remain at a stable FPS. The resolution isn't my prime concern.
It's not going to affect my decision to get the game any, but it'll be disappointing if devs still can't deliver full HD games, for whatever reason.

I've cancelled all my next gen console pre-orders on this news, I'm going to keep my hard earned and not spend it on substandard hardware. I'm going to wait and see if this becomes a standard. Lazy. Just another churned out yearly title with zero effort.
