Last minute touches... New PC Build (T minus 3 days)

Well that makes a total of three SATAIII cables (two with the board, one you are buying extra) for your three drives (DVD, SSD and HDD)

The only reason I can think to buy two more of those cables is so they all match and the 50cm length will make for a tidy cable management job in a really big case.

Alright, cheers man. Appreciate you helping me out.

Their RAM was poor (anyone remember the awful "gold" DDR3?) so they pulled out of the RAM market.

Their Vertex 2,2e,3 SSD's are poor with really bad firmware and reliability issues.

Even TTL said this about them when they nearly went bust - https://www.facebook.com/tinytomlogan/posts/283858501714949

As you said, never skimp on a PSU, so why buy a OCZ when there are plenty of other PSU's on the market made by Seasonic.

So basically you're quoting a bunch of completely different products and then asserting that my PSU is 'poor' purely by association. This is a fallacious and false argument. Every product must be judged on it's merits. So again, please explain with evidence why my PSU is 'poor', because everyone else is saying the opposite.

Just man up and say you were wrong, I'd really respect much more m8.

I stick by what I said, all OCZ products are poor, there are better quality alternatives for what they do (RAM, SSD's and PSU's).

Edit..whoops forgot for a moment there that they lost their RAM game and pulled out.

Yup im with stulid, i'd not put anything OCZ in my rig. I've seen more bad reviews than good and any brand that has Fatal1ty as there one and only front man is....urm....yea idk what to say without being nasty so i'll stop there.

Yes it will, I'd still get the Seasonic over the Corsair though. Sure it has 2 years less warranty, but Seasonic are the only PSU brand (as far as I'm aware) to have a UK RMA centre.

Tbh you're 600w psu no matter what anyone tells you will be plenty with a good amount of headroom to spare. I had the 650w hx series and using a wall meter and i barely pulled over 350w thats at the wall and not at the psu. Also bare in mind of efficiency, too higher wattage and your psu won't be efficient hence higher draw at low output.
