hey guys im having some issues with my build and i would like some advice

so basicly i got my a corsair 500r ans the h110 water cooler the way i have it set up is i have the 2 fans in the top cover of the case and the rad is inside the case i want to set it up in push pull but there just isnt enough room for me to get the fans on the bottom of the rad, so i had a little look around the internet and found some half depth fans wich do look promising my question is before i buy them and start messing around does anyone know if that would get the job done? and if a half depth fan would push enough air to even make it worth it? and also i dont know if im just looking in the wrong places but i cannot find a half depth 140mm static pressure fan

thanks :)

Not unless you have a rad with high fin density.
More often than not, you'll see a couple of degrees improvement which really isn't worth the price of the extra fans.

Fwiw, I use 80mm thick Monsta rads and push pull makes very little difference. They are fairly low fpi (Fins Per Inch) though (around 10fpi I think).

maybe i should have got the h100i then uses 120mm fans rather than 140 but the wich has a thicker and more dense rad but then again i would have the same problem of not having enough space :/

Look at it this way: The H110 performs around 2-4c better than the H100, so you'd have to run the H100 in push/pull to match what you have and the H110 runs quieter due to it's 140mm fans :)

right ok
is the way i have it set up ok though? having the rad inside the case and 2 140mm fans in the top cover the case? so like the fans are on top of the rad rather than underneath... also do i need to use static pressure fans or not?

Your fans are set to exhaust right? If so, it's fine as it is.

Static pressure is more useful when pushing air through a rad, but again, there isn't much difference between push and pull either.
