I'm not going to deny that it does look to be the same ol' stuff, but take a minute to have a read over the 'new features' of the game:

Commander mode is back as well as a whole host of changes that should make the gameplay just that bit cleaner. After reading it I am looking forward to getting my hands on the Beta

The things i'm looking forward to, hopefully makes the game more fun for my play style - RECON IS BACK! C4, motion balls and no ***ing suppression! (only from LMGs and bolts) I'll buy the game as i tend to buy most games, whether i play longer than the first initial week/month we'll have to wait and see.

I've never got the COD V BF thing - I play(ed) both for entirely different experiences and neither provides for me the experience I go play the other for.

I hope they put a FPS meter on the xbox1 and ps4 so you can constantly see the 60 fps which seems hard to believe, the amount of great hardware PC gamers have to have to get 60 fps constant with high settings?

To be fair at least they're putting a bit more effort into the PC Version this year...

It's using completely different assets compared to the console and next gen versions and they've already stated it will look much more impressive than any other version due to this.

TBH, IDGAF if I'm getting 60FPS or 7FPS. As long as the gameplay looks smooth, I'm satisfied.

This. It doesn't make sense, economically, to put much effort into the PC version.

What I hate about CoD is it's all the worst behaviour from any TDM game but rolled into an official playstyle.

Camping, bunnyhopping, assault sniping (running around scoped), Ramboing, K/D bragging and ignoring objectives, running about mindlessly, spray n pray, gun whoring, etc etc

you cant bunnyhop in any cod game

What that made me realise is that I already own Battlefield 4, it just seems to be called Battlefield 3 when I install it...

Well, the guns were new to me.
It had better graphics than BF2, so I'll say yes.
It quite possibly had better sound than BF2, so I'll say probably.


To be honest I keep forgetting Battlefield is an EA game. So all they have to do is increment the number, add another team, add a couple more moves/guns, tweak the graphics and then charge slightly more than they did for the game they tweaked that you bought about 3 months ago.
Don't know why I expected anything different.


And as for BF3 being nothing like BF4, do I take that to mean it's not a game where you run around with a gun and occationally drive vehicles and can do the same in an online mode against other people. Cuz if it's got those things in then I'd say it's at least a bit like BF4.

Try uninstalling (not just disabling) stuff like evga precision if you have it installed.

CBA uninstalling afterburner, I'll use a driver that definitely works instead

Not heard of any common issues with AB, the way some other monitoring software interfaces with the drivers seems to cause some unexpected behavior with current/older versions and 320+ drivers.

Both of the game's are just cash cows that are selling DLC on day 1.
