Short story - My sis sold a football shirt on the bay - buyer received it ok but is now claiming the logo has come off in the wash?!

I cant see how this is even remotely possible!! Has he photoshopped it, or just washed it like an ejjit?!

What are the washing instructions? Looks to me like he wrecked the logo washing it too hot and too hard. Was it a properly embossed shirt, or just printed on?

Why does the font on the 'washed' one look fatter than the font on the one you sold? Doesn't look like the same writing to me.

No idea why somebody would trick you (or your sister) over a used Spurs shirt, but I'm 100% sure the fonts are different.

EDIT: Unless the shirt had/has a raised section around the font itself which only shows on the ruined shirt?

It looks like the text was embossed felt maybe? If so a hot wash may remove the felt.

Buyer didn't follow the washing instructions.

It was as described when it arrived. What they did with it after that is on their own head.

For all the parts of the logo to all come off in one go is very improbable in my opinion. Maybe he has an old shirt that he is trying to pass off as yours. It smells like a scam to me.

the names of the inside of the collar are in a different place

plus the previous comments on the embossed logo

=scam but why bother for a T-shirt

The thing with the collar is just because the shirt is sitting differently.

Badge and lettering looks the same to me.

Got to remember it's two photos from different cameras from different distances.

Has he photoshopped it

This website http://imageedited.com/ says "probably". But of course that could just be because he cropped/lightened/resized it before sending it to you, and removed the camera EXIF tags.

Ask him to send you an original photo from his digital camera.
