just about to put a PC together just wondering if all ok here

i7 3770k
Asus P8 Z77 V Pro
8gig XMS 3 1600 Dual Channel
Samsung 250GB SSD 840 SATA 6Gb/s
Akasa SSD & HDD adapter 2.5 (do I need this ? )
MSI HD 7950 Twin Frozr III Boost Edition 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express
Samsung SH-224DB/RSMS 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter

using my own Lan Li pc60 case and
Cool master 600w silent pro psu

Maybe you should go for a 4670k and z87 motherboard, any reason why you havnt ?

yes m8 cpu & mobo are from settler memory from MM

Looks OK. Dunno about BF4 though. Be prepared to upgrade your 7950 later, but it's a good short term investment.

The cpu, board and ram will be grand. Gpu wise it's hard to tell at present. The upcoming beta will give a better indication of performance. Ive played bf3 on an i7 920 @4.2ghz, an i5 3570k at 4.5ghz and the 3770k at the same speed. With a single gtx 670 the game played identically on all three chips. It was only when moving to sli that the 3570k became the bottleneck.
