my cat came home sat afternoon and he must have been in a fight. his tail is broken by the looks of it and i can seen flesh/skin whatever.

he cant walk downstairs properly as it puts him in a lot of discomfort.

as the vets not open. what can i do?

will he be alright till tomorrow?

Take him to the vet immediately.

If he's having trouble walking it's entirely possible he got hit by a car. In most car accidents most cats don't get run over, they get a glancing blow causing fractures or internal injury.

Cats are VERY good an enduring pain without showing too much outward sign. The fact he's eating is irrelevant, take him to the vet.

hes definitely been fighting. has claws are blunt and hes got bald patch above right eye.

Call the vet, there will be an emergency number. Most animals will try to hide how badly they are actually hurt. If it were mine money would not even be an issue, I would want to make sure my cat was OK tbh. Has happened to me before, and on a bank holiday it will cost a fair bit, but that is part of the deal unfortunately when you get a pet.

Cats in a lot of discomfort, can't walk properly, do I take it the vet?

no I rush (3 days later) to OcUK forums!

:-/

he can walk fine just struggles to walk properly up and down stairs.

ive just come home from weekend away from house.

told my mother she should have rang them Saturday.

i asked for advice not your petty judgments and sarcasm.

thanks to the people who tried to help btw.

the rest of you, you know what u can do

advice given, don't think there's anything more people can add without this becoming a "medical" thread, so am closing it. Speak to the vet please for additional advice
