Just phoned the AA for a quote regarding changing my policy for a new car.
CS informed me that there is a £97 fee as the current underwriters won't insure the new car so I have to cancel current insurance(2 months in) and start a new 12 month one.
I was informed it's not technically a cancellation, it's some kind of early termination and the payment is for DLP/courtesy car cover.
If I leave the AA completely and take my business elsewhere, they charge an admin fee on top which tops out £125 all in.
Is this all right enough?
Anyone got any advice on how to get out of the payment?
Regards, tommy
