Joking apart & certainly no offense meant..... :) their actions told you all you needed to know about them, morons without a clue. Although given your location, I'm very surprised! - its not like your in some rural backward country town where your colour may, perhaps, stand out!

I was born with fingers missing, I sometimes get called "freak" - or a lot worse - by kids (mostly) from time to time because of it..... I'm 42. As already said, being "different" in whatever way, in some eyes, will always attract comment before thought!

Don't be hurt, **** like this never ceases to flabbergast though, sure.

I wouldn't take it to heart. Once a kid shouted "**** off you ****!" at me - I'm white.

I used to work in a call centre and an irate 'customer' once told me to 'Go **** yourself you black ******* because I wouldn't pass him on to a manager.

Apparently, my bassy tones suggested that I was of a certain skin colour.
He sounded like a fat cockney ****...
 
I did some pretty nasty things growing up... you never know, one or two of them might just remember that for a long time to come, and regret it.

I doubt they really meant it in any racist way.. they just know that it's a terrible thing to say and said it for exactly that reason.
 
I personally feel sorry for the kids, they are the real victims here. Why was the OP oppressing them? That is what I want to know.

Edit - Oh the OP was a minority and the kids were white? Well in that case lynch them! They are evil imperialists here to keep the col-... bla-... multicultural types down.
 
My partner worked a school term in a BESD unit - basically a school for kids who can't go more than five minutes without getting expelled.

She used to get called all sorts of racist words - the n word, p word, all sorts.

Funny thing is she was born and raised in Croydon, you'd have to go quite a way back to find a drop of non-British blood in her!

My point is that kids are idiots, and often shout the first thing they think of, no matter if it's relevant or not.

The bigger issue here is that none of those kids would have done this in any other situation other than when they are in groups where they feel secure, and they have succumb to deindividuation.
 
Thanks for the kind responses. It all went to the back of my head yesterday when I found out the girl killed in that Kilburn shooting recently was a past pupil at my workplace. Had dealt with her on numerous occasions helping with IT side of projects etc.. Life is indeed precious :(
 
I wish we still had somewhere to send people like those kids.

Ignore the little *******, but then remember to hate them as they all drop out of school and require state money.
 
I've had little, over confident scrotes shout various things before. Always in herds too as alone they become passive sheep. They do it because they know you won't/can't do anything about it and they can get away with it.
 
Youre not the first and wont be the last mate, im not saying its right or fair but unfortunately this is the world we live in. Public tension about race and religion is high and this is fuelled by poor immigration control and the media does not hepp in the slightest, the few spoil it for the masses.
Best just sucking it up and being the bigger person, although im a white man, i am a southern gent living up north and i get grief all the time for my accent, although it probably doesnt come close to racial abuse it still ****es me off.
Kids will be kids and bone head parents who refuse to educate themselves or their offspring will always be a menace to anyone slightly different to themselves.

Aye, there's this kid (worst of all he's ginger) that walks to school with his mate. When I bike past on my way to work he is guaranteed to make some stupid noise (nothing offensive) to either look cool or wind me up or both. One morning there were roadworks and he was being an idiot with the cones (as kids do I guess) whilst traffic was queued at the lights. I think he might be retarded to be fair.

Although I would love to kick his stupid ginger face in society suggests I cannot so I just ignore it.

Now that I'm 30 I can't really remember what I was like at 13 but I do remember playing "knock 'n' run" etc, so perhaps I or people I knew back then were just as bad, we just didn't realise at the time; care-free.
 
This kind of dickery is not restricted to racial minorities, my wife had a milkshake thrown at her from a car when we were just walking down the street. They'll attach whatever insult they think will be most upsetting.
 
OP, sorry you had that experience. Chances are they were looking for someone to insult and you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Indeed, only last week a chap at the office was working late and a group of youths called him an 'f....n baldly b.....d,' and challenged him to a fight!

There's scum everywhere!
