Hi guys, been having some issues with my new haswell build
i set the system up and have been ocing to test and default to test up untill recently i never thought about testing the memory untill in a few games i got a few freeze ups.
------------------------------

Sooooo i downloaded the latest beta 5.0RC1 memtest86. not sure if this build is stable or not on haswell as some dodgy stuff keeps happening.

when running the test im getting errors on test 6.
funny thing is when i run the test it will pass with no errors 2 times then it will start showing errors.

this is at the memorys default XMP profile no oc on it or timings.
but if i run my system default optimized defaults then enable xmp and run the test it will pass the test without errors. but sometimes it will show errors and others not.....

i can not pinpoint the issue as it could be cpu or mobo or memory as those are the 3 things thats new in my system as of recently.

wich points me to beleave its my uncore thats causing it, but i cant seem to get rid of the issue

any advice guys about trying to stabilize uncore... though the errors on the memory are there even on 4.5ghz cpu/4.0ghz uncore

settings i have tried that still cause the errors to show up.
cpu vin external @1.9v
cpu vcore @1.260v
vring @1.2v
system agent @+0.25
digital & analog @+0.25

-----------------------------
I dont know what else to do...

Just a update guys btw thanks for the help LMFAO :D haha

anyway update: managed to get the memory stable now in test 6 but now after 5 hours + i am getting 2 errors in test 7.....

arghhhh lol

try without x.m.p manually set the speed/timings/dram voltage

try a little more cpu imc voltage

ive seen some cases of memory working better without xmp on haswell on some boards

also test each 8gb kit on its own so 8gb,try and find the faulty stick/sticks if there is one with memtest

bought this : Avexir Venom Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-17200C9 2133MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U21330908G-2CIG) - Green Light
it will fix my memory issues. i hope
i have another issue though with my graphics cards freezing sometimes i get a bsod116 from atidiag.dll file and sometimes i get freeze to desktop with a blacklist error faulting module atixx32.dll

something going on these bloody cards worked perfect on my old x58 chipset i have computers lol

try latest beta drivers for the gpu,and set the power control slider to 20% in ccc

Hi mate i already do that,
and the power setting.
---------------------------------

Got the replacment 2x8gb set today going to install this shortly and run a few tests though i very much doult that this is the problem.

i cant even seem to get higher than 44x uncore with my haswell system without instant 116bsod something on the system is causing this random 116 bsod, tried new and old drivers
to put it blatently this system is not even stable at stock, hows that for a pickle..
