It's such a weak prophecy anyway. People don't seem to remember that the Persians used to spend much of their time trying to take over the world. A lot of Arab nations, much like any other nation with a decent army, used to thrive on world dominance - look at our shady colonisations for instance.

Even if such a prophecy was made, it's just using History as an attempt to predict the future. So basically "men used to make war, war will happen in the future". Yeah, really ****ing deep.

yeh, i had a quick google after ya said, and it seems they have 3 main colours if your sikh (which i believe most of my team mates were)

orange - courage and wisdom

pavo (blue) are apparently ones worn by people who are learned in sikhi, and are traditonal sikh colours for their top boys, but is now more popular with just young lads

white - purity

black - humility,

Personally I think we will wipe ourselves out, but I doubt it's something predictable (as we hear so many stories it's almost impossible to distinguish between the rantings of nut-jobs & people with realistic concerns).

It's inevitable, when it happens who knows. 68 years since a nuke was used to cause devastating damage, can't see it being much longer before one of the modern massive ones is used.

It's not that unrealistic to think we will destroy ourselves before we can settle on another world.

Obviously traces of existence would be left behind, but they are not exactly as easy to find as a flourishing & expanding galactic empire now is it?.

As a species we are a crucial branch-point, we have the technology required to utterly destroy the human race & our ability to survive on the planet - but lack the technology require to leave to another world.

This is a pretty obvious hazard & I genuinely believe that the next few hundred years will make or break our civilisation.
