Pirating Games - Which ones should I get?

Hi guys, not sure if this has been asked before, but I recently got Risen 2 in the Humble Bundle, and quite like the Pirate 'vibe' of the game. Are there any other games that use this setting? :)

I've played some Assassins Creed 3 and the boat-based combat is pretty fun, and I know the next AC will be heavily focused on pirates, but I was wondering if there are any other good games already out?

Piranha Bytes decided upon a pirate theme for Risen 2, because it was something that wasn't really done that much before...and of course because they liked pirates.

If you like Risen 2, then perhaps it has more to do with the warm atmosphere that PB puts into their games more so than the pirates.

Next one for you to try would be Risen 1 (pirates in that although not really pirate themed). And if you love Risen 1, then you can start on the Gothic series, at least the Gothic games that were made my PB (not Gothic 4). Gothic 2, the Night of the Raven, is big on pirates as well.
 
Far Cry 3 is a great pirate game, sure they are modern day pirates, but the entire culture is modern day pirate. Same way that Total War and Company of Heroes are the same (warfare) but in different times.

I do apologise. I realised after I had posted it, that it may be a little misleading! ;)

But thanks for the suggestions, I got Risen 1 as well with Humble Bundle so I will work my way through that and then maybe get Sid Meier's Pirates
