7950. 2x7850 will give better performance, but the 2x7950 option in the future would be better, especially if newer games take advantage of 3GB.

I was under the impression that amd gpus performed poorly in crossfire in bf3 plus I always thought it was better to get one better card than getting 2 ok cards unless you have a multi monitor setup

My two 7850 in BF3 eats the game all on ultra, smooth as butter.

A well OC'd 7950 seems to be roughly on par or thereabouts with xfired 7850's (at least in sleeping dogs extreme), and OC'd 7850 xfire seems to be on par with a well OC'd 7970, so.... I dunno

I'd go 7950. It's absolutely fine for BF3 (over 60fps), and it might well do better in BF4 at high settings over 2x7850s because of the memory.

I'll wait until I get paid friday and see if those MSI 7950's are actually in stock, although I may still go crossfire as I can make half of the money back by selling my 7850 although I wouldn't be planning to crossfire the 7950's as I am not much of a gamer except for BF so just want a new card ready and to last me at least a year or two or until I become bored with Battlefield and then games won't even be touched
