Euro Road Trip / Spa F1 pics

I've had this planned for ages, and finally it was time this weekend :)

Thursday morning, Edinburgh to Folkstone for the channel tunnel, head over to France briefly, through Belgium and to Liege. 3 days there for the F1 (which is about 30mins away from Liege) - one evening heading through to Germany to Dusseldorf also - and once the race was finished on the Sunday, up north into the Netherlands and onto Amsterdam, where we'd stay for Sunday night, and get the ferry to Newcastle over night on Monday. I covered about 1300 miles in total driving. And it was fracking EPIC.

The roads over on the continent really put ours to shame!

Do you ever drive in wales? I swear I have seen that plate on the road
 
nice one, I saw your car over there, noticed the rims as a e92 owner myself I clocked the plate and so on.

I took around 1500 pics :S on my new DSLR (first one) looks like you had better seats than me though I was in GA and found a decent spot at campus / Stavelot however it was not a spot for action lol

I've not mate, must be a similar one :) But next time you see it, double check, be good to know if someone has the same plate illegally lol!!!

Regy, I remember your post saying you were going! Shame I didn't see you. Looking forward to your pics though, be sure to post them up! I used to have a DSLR, but, well, it's gone now :( So I had to make do with my point and shoot and my phone of all things!
 
where about's did you stay? we stayed at a camp site that was a proper camp site, brick built showers and so on. Camping Spa D'ore was really good and very well priced.

I took so many pics but here is a couple I have uploaded none have been edited, taken with a 75-300mm tamron budget lens, edit photobucket really does drop the quality of them :(

Coincidentally I have a black e92 and have very similar pics to yours of it on the Eurotunnel! My departure was Friday morning though :)

Regy, we stayed in a hotel in Liege, and had tickets for the Silver 2 stand, on the straight before Eau Rouge.

Where did you see my car lol? Parked up or driving about?

Camping looked pretty good, facilities from what we saw were decent, I'd do that next time I think :) Great pics btw mate, I really miss my DSLR!!!!
 
Did you take a drive up around the old Spa circuit, please say you did and you have pictures of the epic stretches. If you didn't, go back there right now!!

We tried as a mate told me about this also (I didn't know!!!!) - but it was crazy busy and we couldn't turn the way we wanted to get to it due to a road block :( later got filtered all the way in the opposite direction.

I do plan to go back though - not just for that, but for another F1, and stay longer. So I shall definitely do this!
