Anyone had a spray tan before? - DONATE AND OP WILL GET A SPRAY TAN (CHARITY INSIDE TOO!)

Wow, £100 target now? Makes me feel like a bit of a sleezy stripper but OK. Pics are deserved. If not on the day I get it, I'll do my best for some selfies on holiday without raising suspicions. Try not to jizz your pants though.

edit: ah the name got changed I see. Cheers  :p

Dear Maccapacca,

We’d like to thank you for opening an online giving page; www.justgiving.com/manlovespraytans. Glad to see your fake tan’s working. Well done on raising £55.00 already- carry on the spray tanning!
It’s due to the support from people like you, that Barnardo's is able to continue its vital work with vulnerable and disadvantaged children and families in the UK.

If we can give you any further help, please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.

I've had people say about being nervous about being the new guys on holiday before - but I've never understood it really...

More like the new gays! LOLOLOL AMIRITE?! :D

Bump, why are we at just £55 still???? Does no one want to see Mr Sunbed attain his rightful name and his rightful tangering glow?

OK this may be a very bad idea, but as some people donated their hard earned cash I feel obliged to conclude the spray tan saga.... for now...

I had one. I was quite nervous but neither me nor my mate would back down. We arrived at the place and were met by the fittest receptionist I’ve ever seen. She was unreal. At least a 9.2/10. She clearly thought we were gay at first so we did our best to act like 'true lads' (we're not though, we just try to convince ourselves we are sometimes) going on a 'lads holiday' . Anyway, she eventually realised we were straight and we got a nice fact at that point: about 80% of male client that have spray tans there are gay. Glad to know. So, we went through the automated machine thing (naked obvs) and we were told it would take about a day to fully appear. This is the first reason I didn't get a photo - nothing had happened by this point.

Later on the plane it started to come through. I kept looking at my mate and he was going pretty orange. We were sure the rest of the group would notice soon but they didn't. We landed at night quite late by UK standards, probably about 11pm. We assumed by the time we get to villa and get changed etc most bars would have shut. We assumed wrong, and I'm glad. We were intending to have a quiet drink before a relatively early night in, ready for a week of partying ahead. What actually happened was a lot of tequlia and a foam party, within four hours of landing. Never been in one before but it was brilliant. This explains the second reason why no photos.. after waking up in only my soap-sodden shorts (lost all other clothes/shoes/phone etc), skin stinging and red from the horrible washing up liquid, my fake tan had completely gone. Not surprising really. I was back to being a pasty white brit abroad once again.

The third, and most important reason why I didn't get any photos was it would have just been a bit weird... So there you have it. Will probably go away this summer but I doubt another spray tan will be on the cards - depends if it's a challenge.

I'm glad Barnado's got something out of it at least!
