I don't have a problem with Chelsea at all. Some of us just want to see the better team win and don't have a biased opinion just because they are an english team.

If you think that this current Bayern team is playing at anything like the level they did last year under Heynkes I worry for you.

I never said that

Mourinho trolling as usual especially about the Ramires tackle, basically saying he didn't hurt him so the ref should have kept him on to keep the game entertaining :D

Both are great at their jobs.

Gotze has barely played both since his injury, or with his bayern team mates. He can't be judged on tonight because he was no where, I mean absolutely no where near the form he is capable of. Mandy is okay at what he does but he works well with someone like Muller when not Muller they often play someone else who will make runs into the box. Tonight after Muller was off it was just like Barca, players lining up around the edge of the box to shoot...

Terrible decisions by Guardiola, "more midget midfield creators... less people to finish chances and make runs" worked great didn't it.

I really did feel the second Guardiola was confirmed that Bayern pretty quickly become less direct, more boring, and focus on the wrong players. This is aside from the defence he's almost single handedly demolished by chopping and changing who plays where in defence, in a matter of a month, from the tightest most unbeatable defence in Europe to dropping points, losing games and scoring less.

I said earlier, far far too much focus on Guardiola's success and possession football, possession football isn't why Barca got good, Messi went from 19 and a 10-15goal a season striker to 21 and a 50 goal a season striker, to more like 23 and 70 goal a season striker. You could have a defensive, possession, long ball, any kind of team, a striker adds 50-60 goals a season to your team and you're going to kick ass.

Gutted Chelsea lost but was epic to watch & someone had to lose/win in the end you couldn't call it either way and the result is the result.

Positives from it... well Schurrle/Hazard/Oscar are looking so so promising, whether Oscar moves back and allows Mata to slot in in front (allowing Lamps down time) and then once our striker issue is sorted then we're looking very very strong with a young team.

There is a change in defence back to the days from JMs first spell which is just a lot more reassuring

Watching Oscar getting out of tricking situations time and time again is a joy to watch & Hazard getting more comfortable, should be something quite awesome to watch in the coming seasons.

LOL good ole Terry, always going to be the butt of jokes now:D.

I dont think Bayern are all that in all honesty, sure they dominated possession but defensively they look terrible and if Pep doesnt fix that then teams like Chelsea will figure them out and beat them. Mind you they had a few injuries tonight ie Schweinsteiger was out who is usually their rock in the middle and Thiago is out for a few mths due to surgery earlier this month on his ankle...funny that, he moves to Bayern, gets injured and now is out for a few mths:p

Being Barca mk2 which is what Bayern reminded me of tonight, i dont think thats going to work very well. Usually German teams including Bayern are pretty efficient at moving the ball forward and scoring rather than passing it around till the opposition gets bored lol.

Either way it will be interesting to see how Bayern do in the Bundesliga and CL this year. From what i have seen so far tonight, i dont put them as favourites to hold onto the CL title.

Don't get the Chelsea hate. Not saying it should be "support the englisg1!1!?!!" But they are a decent side and played well.

Just seems like a lot of butthurt from fans of teams they will (probably) supplant.

I agree.

They don't look half as good, last year they were solid and efficient (what playing good football)

On last night evidence they looked pretty but not very efficient or solid. Could be Guardiola getting found out. Haven't they already drew 0-0 with one of the **** teams in the league?

Why do people keep saying this. We don't hate Chelsea. Mourinho is a complete **** but he is good for the league and entertaining. Did Chelsea player the better football? No. Did they deserve to win? No. Did they ride their luck horrendously to retain their lead till the dying seconds? Yes.

Both the first Barca goal and the second Chelsea goals were mistakes by the keepers but Neuers mistake for their second was a clanger.

We don't hate Chelsea, we just quite like Mourinho losing and the better team winning. I don't think a lot of us have particular allegiances to either team so we were happy enough when the better team won.

At the end of the day it was a great game and both teams played a part of that. Whoever won was pretty irrelevant to us.

This pretty much although i will add i dont like Chelsea very much even with Mourinho or without him. But seeing him lose is always a great joy for me because he inevitably comes out with some fantastic stuff but in reality he is probably one of the worst sore losers in football and thats saying something.

Didnt he say last night that Ramirez should have not been sent off??, come now Mourinho, had it been a Bayern player you would have been spitting feathers, probably walked over to the Bayern side sneakily and pull one of the assistant coaches ear off:p

I hate Chelsea because I have Mata in my dream team and he doesn't even come on as a sub.

You're acting like bayern didn't ride their luck either? We did have three pretty damn good chances during normal time. On top of that what team when down to 10 men against one of the best teams in europe wouldn't ride their luck?

Anyway thought it was a great game, ramires deserved to be sent off and was disappointed to lose but plenty of positives to take from the performance.

Every game has missed chances for both side unless is is horrendously one sided which is rare with 2 top sides. Bayern could have won that game 4 - 2 or worse had they had a little bit of luck or some more clinical finishing. Bayerns defending was poor all game which allowed you the chances whereas their attacking was was what made their chances. Your great last ditch defending and a large slice of luck kept you in it.

No one writes a post that analyses every little detail so we talk in generalisation. You were not the better team and you rode your luck more than Bayern did. That doesn't imply anything other than what is said. It doesn't say that they didn't do the same to a lesser extent.
