Hello

I'm wanting to buy the Asus Xonar DGX sound card because I recently purchased the Roccat Kave Headset and would like to be able to use the 5.1 feature but I'm wondering if I have enough power?

Specs

Corsair 500CX V2 80PLUS Power Supply
Gainward GeForce GTX 460 768MB GDDR5 Graphics Card
Intel Core i3-2100 CPU
Samsung 830 256GB SSD
Samsung 1TB Spinpoint f4 Hard Drive
Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3-B3 Motherboard
8GB of Mushkin Blackline 1600mhz RAM
DVD RW and a wifi card

Easily be enough, may even get away with less. - what's key is going with a well respected and reliable manufacturer. Also Corsair have a psu calculator on their website that can work it out for you :)

Just to really set your mind at rest, I'm currently running a PNY version of that graphics card, with an i7-2600k, SSD & HDD (120GB & 2TB respectively), 8GB DDR3, a DVD-RW drive and 2 x 30cm LED strips (green cos it's my only Nvidia card in my PCs :) ) all off a Shuttle 250W PSU. :D

I hooked it up to a wall wattage meter when I first put the GPU in, and it showed I was only pulling 180-ish Watts from the wall when gaming. Not sure I'd recommend overclocking and running Prime95+Furmark on it, but if all that runs off a decent quality 250W PSU, then you've definitely got nothing to worry about with your decent 500W.
