Simple question - will I ruin the first game's story if I play the second before finishing it?

And it takes me forever to finish a game.

I played five minutes of the first then fired up the second. Much like my women, I like my games pretty.

The first one does look a bit basic when you've been playing Mirror's Edge/BF3. I've heard the second is amazing looking but never loaded it up.

If you're not enjoying the game for whatever reason, there are other ways of catching up with the story.

I'm not very far into the first yet so I don't know how I'll get on with it. I've just made the potion to cure Triss.

I never played the first one. Picked Nr 2 up in the recent steam sale and am really enjoying it, I don't feel as though I need to know what happened more than reading the plot summary on Wikipedia.

It's what the games are based on. Only a couple of them are in English, but there are fan translations of the others.

Do yourself a favour and just read the storyline from the first online,I've finished the first and it was okay to begin with and then it just became a slog and was wishing at every opurtunity for the game to finish it didn't and when I finally finished it I was relieved it was over tbh.

Haven't started the second one yet may start it after I finish tomb raider which is a brilliant game may I add.

Hard to disagree with that

I played the second one without having played the first and I don't think it spoiled my enjoyment of an excellent game.

Ok - I'll stick with the first game for a bit but if I start getting bored I'll load up the 2nd and give that a try.

Waits impatiently for Witcher 3.......

I've played 2 but never bothered with 1. Spent the time playing (modded)skyrim instead.

Enjoyed both witcher 1 is slower pace game an 2 has more action also graphics are lot better you can play witcher 2 first will not ruin playing witcher 1.
