Ok

I need advise on which card to choose i currently own a GTX 460 so this is a big upgrade....

seeing the reviews the 7950 has an advantage on 384 bit than the 256bit, however has lower memory clock speed at performance wise i.e. games like PS2 / GTA V / BF4 which would be better?

The clock and memory speed cannot be compared directly as they are different card by different companies on different chips.. They bare no resemblence to each other (performance wise)

The 7950 is better of the two cards, even the 670 is better than the 760, the VRAM makes very little difference.

The 384-bit interface means the bandwidth is higher, plus a memory overclock takes it even higher.

Modded Skyrim will easily use over 2GB VRAM, but it's one of the only cases at the moment.

Just gotta wait for stock of the card ETA 4th pah cannot wait to see the difference in framerates from the old GTX460 has that card since 2010 !!!

This, that and again this and that.

:D

Just make sure you overclock. Buying a 7950 and leaving it at stock speeds should be a crime, unless you don't need more performance that is.

EDIT

Before anyone says it yes i appreciate my sig indicates im currently running at stock. :p

Just ordered one 25 minutes before next day cutoff! Was going to order the MSI one about 30 mins ago as will only be in for a delivery tomorrow but hesitated due to the known faults with the MSI ones, even the new revision. Glad I waited!

Guys

In stock now!
Remember they are on weekly offer so the prices increase Wednesday morning!

Mine has been shipped :)

Thanks Overclockers

it's a sad moment to see my GTX460 go, what a superb card when it was current gen can't believe that was 3 years ago this month!!

Might just hold onto it for antique purposes.

I am now on the darkside ATI :D
