This is absolutely amazing. I take it the side is acting as an almost parabolic mirror and focusing the sun's rays quite intensely.

Sounds like something out of a James Bond film.

There was actually this article on it last week, as it was forcing people to shield their eyes when the light was reflecting off it. Though a lot of people were actually positive about it, particularly the women seeing it as a good spot to be on a lunch break!
