This better be a bloody joke, apparently Swansea's Garry Monk is at our training ground. Surely we could sign a young player to sit on the bench than yet another ancient player.

But they said they wouldn't sell to you at any price and 50m didn't look like being enough, yet. They may have just accepted that Suarez was already a huge gamble and 40 million was already pushing it.
 
So Ozil cost RM £15m after a wonder World Cup and now he wants to leave RM and they dont want him he is worth £40m

Liverpool were never going to sell to arsenal. £50m wouldn't have got him.

I think at the end of the window and you look around at the players brought in the EPL then you might think ozil for £40m isn't too bad.

Great for Real Madrid, buy young players cheap, give them some La Liga and CL experience and then sell them for more.

Same could happen for Khedira and Di Maria.

Christian Purslow has just destroyed the Babelcopter by revealing he has a chronic fear of flying and had to hold Babel's hand throughout a last-gasp plane trip to London to finalise a transfer in 2010, but the deal fell through as Liverpool were unable to get the replacement they were after.
