Ozil deal being shown as done I guess left midfield is his now? with walcott on the right, Cazorla/ramsey/wilshere/arteta/flamini occupying the midfield.

Unless we get a striker in it looks like Giroud till the Jan transfer window

I guess Cabaye is not gonna happen since Flamini has come in

Spanish football writer Andy West: "Some bizarre reports coming out regarding United's collapsed Herrera deal. Apparently a group of men claiming to be United representatives spent an hour at the La Liga offices in Madrid today, but it turns out they had nothing to do with the club and were presumably just attempting to get a cut of the deal in an elaborate fraud.

"Must be stressed these are just rumours but the Spanish media have published pictures of men in black suits - supposedly the United "representatives" - coming out of the league offices carrying briefcases.

"All very strange and no doubt the truth will come out in the next few days."

Ozil's a decent player but £40m+? That's massive money for him and shows how desperate Arsenal were to sign somebody of note. And if they were going to pay over the odds on a player, they should have at least done so on a player that plays in a position they need.

I can't believe Man U have signed no one during this window. Fellaini is not good enough and I can't believe Man U have been watching Ozil for sometime especially under Fergie and they just let him sign for Arsenal.
