Anyone here into clay shooting? Been shooting on and of for over 20 years and have finally got around to applying for my shotgun licence. Be good to hear fom anyone who is into it for hints etc on guns etc.

Been doing it for 20 years or so but never really got any better than 75% and I can't afford to continuously practice but I still enjoy it when I get the chance. What have you been shooting with?

My main tip would be avoid the cheap guns, I started with a Lanber but it would fire both barrels at once every 200 shots or so, not something which becomes apparent from a quick test. Stump up for a low end Browning or Beretta (without tha fancy engraving) and it will last a lifetime.

Did it once at a farmy type of show. First time actually holding a gun nevermind shooting one. Hit 10/10 although they was only shooting upwards. I can see how addictive it would be. Would love a proper go at it though.

Have not been for quite a few years and have now sold my guns but totally agree with sickasaparrot steer clear of cheap guns. I to started on a lanber sporter when I was a kid then moved on to a Browning b325

Have shot for about 12 years on and off. Go when the magic two factors combine. Currently use a Berretta 682 that was purchased a week before I was born!

Funny that I was enquiring about a lanber sporting deluxe today and they went out of business about a year ago.i was toying with a new lamber or a s/h beretta browning or miroku. Use my friends beretta 686 silver pigeon quite a bit and really like it. Don't want to spend a massive amount on my first gun.

Been shooting since I was knee high to a grasshopper.
Even an officer of a club in oxon, my father is the chairman... that said he is also the chairman of the local rifle and pistol range.

As far as guns go, you wont go wrong with a browning.
I love my cynergy and maxus.

Yeah it's like everything else you get what you pay for. Correct me if Ian wrong but werent lanber owned by Beretta. I never had any trouble with the lanber and it had done allot of work and was a lovely gun to shoot, but if I was buying again now I wouldshop around for a nice sh Browning or Beretta.

Well been shooting for a little while now and pretty much just shoot skeet. I own a browning gti ultra s and it's a great gun for me. Fit etc is great and have hit quite a few straight rounds.
