Hi guys,

I'm feeling the need to finally upgrade to a proper kit that includes the option of variable voltages and the fact that I've had enough of my crappy Kanger Evod kit due to it never working properly and having to go back to the older trusty CE5 kit. I've been looking at one of these: http://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10004394/1334900

Is this the kit that most people on here have been upgrading to going by the amount of Vamo posts? I've also read that this kit that it's recommended to upgrade to the Panasonic batteries as they are more of a premium quality and last longer, is this correct?

Thanks all - Liam

I would get the kit with the nitecore charger (much better) and 2 18650 batts instead of the 18350s

Thanks mate :) Those 18650 batteries supplied are Sony ones as opposed to Panasonic ones that people recommended, would Sony ones will be more than suitable?

Dingo with a DID - I have it at 1.3 Ohms atm i want to do another coil later and make it lower.

One thing with metal sleeve is how the hell do i know when its low xD. I need to get a needle to attach to my syringe so i can unfill and refill knowing how much is in there.

Looking good, Pyrex is your answer, nothing worse than going out armed with a spare battery and then running out of juice.
I run my DID with a .8 Ohm coil three wraps of ribbon, not entirely sure what grade it is tho
All my juice at the moment is VG 5% Vodka, clouds of vaper :D

received my vamo wrap today from scrumpy jack at uk vapers, looks brilliant and is much better to hold, no more fingerprint magnet. What do you guys think?

I think you need to get your self a decent mechanical mod to put that beautiful spheroid on :p

Looks ok Dude;)

The Sony 18650s are just as good (maybe better) as the Panasonic but not as common. They have a much higher drain than most batteries which doesn't matter for you but is good for people using mech mods with sub ohm coils.

They'll be fine. You may find after a while that they aren't as able to cope when they are running low, but I go through 2 18350s in a day easily, whereas one 18650 lasts me all day. I do like the small form factor, but I couldn't use them every day. More of a night out thing for me. Besides, you can always pick up more!

Nobody have an opinion on these? :(

I have the ATTY and the RSST. Both very good genesis atomisers.

The mech mod you linked to looks like something from a plumbers merchants. Look for the SMOK Magneto clone, that is only something like £15 with a magnetic button. The Ithaka clone is getting good write ups too.

Maybe I should try Ribbon instead of normal wire I have a 1 Ohm coil now after recoiling much nicer to vape :p this draw on the DID is epic.

i would love to mate but i just cant warrant spending the money on one, the spheroid cost a lot and the vamo is great for the money. i have got these on the way from fasttech

Very informative, many thanks again mate :)

Could you recommend me the best clearomizers to use with these Vamo's as well?

Cheers - Liam

Ha ha, only kidding mate, the bagua copy looks pretty good and I'm sure it will work well enough, I do think the Chinese copies lack the quality tho!

i dont think it will be a patch on the quality of a real one obviously but its available to get hold of and the real ones arent and its only 15 quid rather than upwards of 150 lol. have you seen the new chi you copy, it looks great

Can't help but love the DiD. No hot spots?

None at all - I rolled a twisted coil then did 3 slash 4 wraps with that and its glowing nice and even - I could probably roll a better one if i put some more time into it.

Right now its vaping nice and smooth with a good throat hit and flavour. The airhole is nice and open as its been drilled out a bit :P

I still want lower ohms haha.

FYI Scorch the difference between using a Mech mod like the dingo and the vamo is huge. It just feels so much better the quality of the vape feels a little diff to due to being unregulated.

You dont need to spend as much as I did you could get a siglei 19e which is a nice mech mod for less then £40 which has brass contacts and a nice button and works just as good as the dingo i reckon.

What I am paying for is the size mostly :p and quality of machining.
