I have watched videos where they say fluoride is a poison and the idea it helps fight cavities is laughable. Some say fluoride is chemically dumbing down our brains (in before somebody says it has done a good job on my brain). If Omega 3 fish oils are good for the brain as seen on our adverts then there must be an opposite. There must be things bad for our brain.

They have been using potassium fluoride and sodium fluoride as part of the chemical weapons in Syria.

Look at the warnings on American toothpaste. Notice they say keep away from children under 6 years old and if you swallow more than you normally put on your toothbrush (so not a lot) get some get medical help or consult a poisons control center immediately. it's ok to put in our drinking water though. Not all water companies add fluoride sadly where I live North West water does.

To illustrate how stupid your statement is, if you add a single atom of Oxygen to water, you have Hydrogen Peroxide, Go drink that.
In essence, just because fluoride is in chemical weapons, doesn't make it all bad.

How is my statement stupid? Look at the warning on the toothpastes. They are basically saying if you swallow more than teaspoon full of toothpaste consult a poisons center. A teaspoon full is enough for you to have to consult a poisons center? They are telling you fluoride is poisonous. I don't care if they are diluting it. They are diluting a poison and putting it on our water.
 
I'd imagine the warnings are mostly there to prevent said toothpaste companies being sued, after some idiot eats a tube of toothpaste and becomes ill. It is the US, after all.
 
The median lethal dose is 0.125 g/kg, similar to that of caffeine. The upper limit of what's added to water is 1.2mg per liter. Meaning that if you weigh 70KG you would have to consume at least 7292 liters in one go for it to be a lethal dose.


I think you're ok.

Edit: That would be 3.65KG of toothpastes worth, roughly.

I was referring to you implying it is dangerous because it's part of a chemical weapon. That's not the case. Really it's a very poor knowledge of chemistry.
Maybe after your gcse's you'll understand more.

And i've watched videos that say the queen is a lizard, does that mean it's true?

they also probably use water in making those chemical weapons. also nitrogen (nearly 80-% of the gas you're breathing) and carbon (what makes u pa very large part of you) combined give you cyanide!!!!!!!

Actually plain water on its own can kill you too. So maybe we need to look again at the whole idea of pumping the stuff into people's homes ;)

This exactly. Its also the reason that the package insert on all your over the counter medicines and prescription medicines are the length of the lord of the rings. Its purely a legal safeguard in the event that you suffer from a potential adverse reaction.

Do you know what else is a precursor of Sarin? Oxygen. How could we let them have air!

Even worse, oxygen while giving us the ability live is TOXIC!!!!!! in high enough concentrations and will kill us.

Ingesting fluoride may have a small negative impact on your health but this will be far outweighed by your lifestyle choices of drinking/smoking/fast food/not enough exercise/living in a polluted city etc.

On the other hand fluoride has been proven to reduce the incidence of tooth decay and all the problems that can cause.

You've got to be pragmatic about these things. There are many things I can do that will give me much greater benefit than cutting out fuoride and in fact fluoride will help protect my teeth from excessive sugar damage caused by my other lifestyle choices..

Wow what a classic GD way to twist things. I say fluoride is a poison and you try and associate that with a very stupid conspiracy theory about the queen being a lizard?

Look at the warnings on the labels.
