Peoples reaction to your death?

I need to leave behind a fund to keep my website going so I can live for many more years after my demise!

Mum & brothers would be a bit upset, girlfriend would be laughing with the life insurance money, son is too young to understand.

I think the most impact would be on my work, as I'm the only person there who can do my job (although they're in the process of "fixing" that).

Yay. /emo :p

No it's not. Death is a natural part of life and as such curiosity surrounding it is understanding.

Indeed.

Strange, me and my friends had an hour long (slightly drunken) conversation about death recently, turns out all but one of us had thought about it extensively and have comes to terms with it through life experiences.

Pretty much came down to, if you don't physically exist then what does it matter? None of us really gave a damn any further than "I hope our family and friends will be ok when we're gone".

Steve Jobs said:
No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

I've come to terms with my own death, whenever that may be.

I think that is relative to an individuals experiences however.

A lot of people will say good, a lot of people will be terribly sad and a lot of people will say I knew he wouldn't reach 40.

Some will be sad probably, there may be some that will be happy. They can play this if they want....

I hope that they have a good wake. :p

I hope I smash through the pearly gates in a fireball of drugs, stolen money and strippers, im sure family and friends would be upset at first but life moves on and they would get over it and all that would remain of me is stupid stories and nostalgia at birthdays and Christmas.
However me and a friend of mine had a conversation about what we would like written on our headstones, heres mine "Nick Lidgett 1984 - 20**, bit of a ***t"

I'm going to Live forever that's the plan I'm Sticking to it. Plus all these people who have died are so damn rude about it I mean do they not think about the people they're leaving behind all that morning and depression they've sown it's just out of order!

I don't care. I'll be dead. If a thousand people attend my funeral, so what. If nobody attends so what.

The only thing I will insist on about my funeral is that it will be a secular/humanist one. No religious nonsense of prayer or hymns etc.
