As the title says.

I currently have 1 radeon hd 5770, and was thinking of getting another one to crossfire.

But is it worth it ? Should i just buy a bettet single card ?

What resolution are you playing at, what games do you play, what is the rest of your system specs? What's your budget?

Resolution is in 720 as i play on my tv in main room.

System is..
Asus m5a97 le 2.0 atx board
Fx6300 @ 4.1
8gb corsair xms3 1600mhz
Hd 5770
3 x wd green 500gb

Games i play mostly are c&c's , bf3, bf4 when it comes out, cod, grid 2, company of heros ( which drags irs nuts of if intake it above medium settigs lol)

Budget isnt a lot hence was thinking of getting a second hand 5770.

But if i sold mine and put 50-70 towards it that would give me around the 100 mark.

Back in the day it was a great combo. Now, not so much. A single 7850 would be faster than CF 5770's.

I did think about that. Iv seen second hand ones go for 90 so its in thenprice range.

Is there a site to compare CF to a single card ? So i can see the diffrence.

To be honest the 5770 isnt a bad card. It plays bf3 at ultra and grid 2 same. With 30 fps. But obv at some points it does slow down a little. But its not that bad.

yeah I think its a bad idea, like other guys have said, a new single card would probably better suit your needs and as you play in your main room it might be a touch quieter as well.
