Gigabyte Z77-G1-Sniper 3

Jeez... Would this be the one that was there for £180 last week?

Yes it is .

Just going to cut right to the chase...RMA it.

Yeah seems to make sense that oh well .

All so I dunno if its normal or not but seems that the turbo don't work just stays full throttle ,When i can clearly see that the volts are going up and down and the temps are all over the place some thing for sure is not right .. I mean on my other Giga mobo had none this problems .. oh well .. so may as well just put me Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3P-B3 back in and be done with it . The only problem I have with going back is I am trying to move forwards , You think haswell is the better way to go ?

Stick with it, Haswell is newer and so on, but its not a huge jump forward.

OK so save my money .Was just reading the Haswell-E is coming ? 8 cores and 12 threads wow ..

So if I was to get say two GTX 780 FTW cards would the i7 2600k Bottleneck them ?
And would I be losing any of the special features that the cards would be using if they are in PCI-E 2.0 .Seeing as i7 2600k wont work as 3.0 .I can see that people are saying that there is not any thing to really notice in % from 2.0 to 3.0 but don't the 3.0 slot do more like add features that other cards don't us?
