i7 4770k enough for SLI titans?

You're system will always have bottlenecks, even with a mega CPU you'll just move it to the memory. I'm assuming you want gaming performance? If so don't waste money on the i7, get the i5 instead. It'll be plenty quick and as fast as the i7 for games.

ooooo yes, if you have the cash to do it.

the CPU will be a nice chip, i would get some VERY fast ram.
and a MMOOOOOOsive PSU

the second quistion you need to ask your self if can you motherboard take it?
is this parts to go into an system you have or one your making

i havnt bought the parts yet so things can be swapped out if i need to the current mobo that i wanna get is MSI g65 gaming

what kind of ram should i get to best compliment the CPU and the dual titans? i mean in terms of clock speed

Im of the opinion that 2133Mhz or greater is wonderful combined with these haswell chips.

i always worry about buying ram faster than 1600mhz because on the intel site the 4770k only says its rated for 1600mhz and motherboards usualy say only up to 1600mhz im just scared id get 2133mhz or faster and it wouldnt work lol

Search for TTL's 'Titan SLI vs 780 SLI reveiw'.. He say that SLI 780 is better than SLI titans, cheaper too.

4 770's? holy crap never even thought about that but meh if i wanted quad SLI i can afford 4 titans

ive watched and read a lot of reviews and thats the only one ive seen that says 780's will outdo titans... 780's are still an option so are 770's

This is another good review: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2013/08/06/nvidia_geforce_gtx_780_sli_video_card_review/10

As reaper pointed out though, for the price of 2 TITANS you can gwt 3 780 (which will outperform 2 TITANS easily) or 4 GTX 770's...

Im not sure what 3 x 780 vs 4 x 770 is like but i bet its pretty close. :)
