Xbox One for me. First and foremost it has the better launch window line up of games for me.
The free copy of Fifa or Forza negates most of the price difference and Kinect could be useful eventually as it's in effect only costing £40 if you take the free games into account. Given Sony have said they are looking to add some kind of voice commands and motion tracking with the PS4 Eye thingamabob I'm more convinced we'll see it used cleverly (other than just jumping around) in mainstream games and I think the Kinect version is likely to be better, if only for voice commands, bio-feedback (are you scared?) and head tracking etc.
I prefer the Xbox controllers and although it sounds like PS4 has made progress so has Xbox and I've not seen anything to make me think I'd prefer the DS4.
Titanfall!
I'm intrigued by what cloud compute could bring to console gaming eventually and in the short term dedicated servers for all multiplayer games is a huge win for me.
Xbox Live. I like the environment and have plenty of friends I play regularly there going for XO so it's a bit of a no brainer tbh.
Smartglass second screen stuff looks interesting.
Despite PS4 being more powerful even Mark Cerny/Sony have said they expect it will take devs 3 years to get the most out of it. If by then I feel I'm missing out on exclusives or it's proving to be noticeably better than Xbox I'll pick up a PS4 "slim" for a couple of hundred quid funded by selling old XO games.
Titanfall! (I know I said it already, but seriously...
)
Like I said in a different thread, I still expect the PS4 to outsell XO by 2:1 at launch but I don't think you can really go wrong with either console. they're both a huge step forward from what we have now and it's good to see someone competing with Sony to push console gaming forwards. I hope they both do stonkingly well, genuine competition is all good for us as gamers."
