I am currently having some issues with my neighbour. I have tried to talk to him about the issues but he just tells me sorry and it wont happen again or some other BS but then does after either a couple of days/weeks etc. I don't want to start getting into slanging matches or fisticuffs with the idiot so Its getting to the stage where I am going to have to write to his landlord (Both his house and mine are rented) I have asked him for his landlords contact details several times (Under the guise that my landlord wants it to see if his wants to go halves on having facias replaced, but he just says he will have to sort it out and makes excuses so I paid and got the details from the land registry BUT it shows the people that own the place but the address for them is the neighbours address. I could have sworn that it was required that if a landlord is not residing at the address then the land registry must be updated to include contact details for the actual place where the landlord/owner can be contacted??? I am pretty certain that if I do send a letter to that address with the actual owners details on it they will open it, it will not get to the landlord and then they are the type of people that will cause trouble and I don't want and cannot afford keyed car/slashed tyres/brick through the window etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Use paragraphs.

That really helps the OP out!!!

Stop spamming threads and give him a real answer if you can, if you cant dont bother writting anything at all.

OP i dont know the rules and regulations about the land registry so i cant help there maybe if this was posted in the "home and garden" forum section you might get better information.

I would skip trying to talk to his landlord directly and start talking to yours, maybe they know eachother, maybe they dont but its in your landlords interest to help you as he will lose out if you leave.

Also a visit to the front desk of the local cop shop probably wouldnt hurt, if you live in a terrace, even better as your neighbour wont have a clue what side the complaint has come from.

In the mean time keep a journal of all the disturbances, include the time and type of disturbance thats being caused and note down anytime you ask him to quieten down.

He can use capital letters and brackets, maybe his enter and full stop buttons are broken?

Thinking outside the box, maybe his neighbours have hacked into his PC and disabled some keyboard functions?

On a serious note, a complaint to the council would probably be the first step, so at least there is something logged.

Yes, I didn't use paragraphs as I was after a bit of information on a internet forum not writing an essay but anyway I am happy that you have so much time on your hands to troll forums and pointing out others shortcomings.

Anyway...

The issues are general loud bassy music playing that travels between the houses. There have been several times where they have had a party and the music has been loud, bassy and on till the past 2am. General scummy behaviour such as standing in the back garden shouting f this and c that with or directed at his "mates" and not a week goes by without him having a full blown slanging match between him and his missus, inside or outside the house. And finally the police have had to be called on at least 3 occasions, once by me when he was having a full blown fight in the back garden and his house with I think his brother. I believe the other couple of times the police have been called by her family because he has been knocking her about but that's up to them to deal with.

My landlords son is my best friend and he has witnessed this stuff and he thinks his folks know the landlords parents and are trying to get some contact info for him/them.

Not really an option for me, well at the moment anyway. I get a good deal where I live, its a nice area apart from these scumbags, its nice and accessible for work/family/friends.

any time I make a noise the neighbours toilet seems to flush like a sign of protest or something....

I'm tempted to stand flushing my toilet for 10 minutes the next time they do it or just knock on and ask what the ****** problem is?
