Yes I know the Ipad is very pretty but also expensive.

My uncle would like a 10" tablet (or there abouts) He wants to use Sky go and browse the internet over wifi.

My question which one and not too expensive.

Was looking at the OCUK ones £149.99 looks a good deal.

Thanks for help

I'd second the Nook HD+, it's so very good for the price, I've picked up two this week. Screen is excellent, it's very well built and internals aren't fancy but do everything. Stock it all ready has Google Play, and it's a cinch to root or go custom.
The other larger Android tablets (that are any good) are just too much for what is still not a great tablet platform for the most part. If he can't stretch to an iPad I'd recommend the Nook.

If he wants to use sky go he's limited to an Ipad or Nexus 7 or Galaxy Tab

With an edit to build.prop almost any will work.

Nook HD+ 9" 32GB £149.00 at a high street store good tab for the money..

Only problem is that Barns & Noble are going to stop making Nook tablets because of poor sales -

Barnes & Noble Inc will stop manufacturing its own Nook tablets, marking the end of its expensive attempt to compete alone with deep-pocketed rivals Amazon.com, Inc, Apple Inc and Google Inc in the tablet wars.

Why's that a problem? It's the reason you're getting great hardware so cheap.

I don't use Sky Go, take a look over at XDA - or the many Google results. You'll need to root your device, download a build.prop editor and just change the device identification string to that of a supported one. You may also need a root hiding application, or to unroot after.
