Asking girl out who works at Pret?

Now the OP has got nothing to lose, as he can pop in one evening and ask and if she says no, he can still use the establishment during the day due to her change in shifts.

If, however, she changes back to her original shift pattern I would seriously consider Costa.
 
Part of the joke is that the 'Preparation' section of the story is an establishing point, a well known piece of internet text which many readers will be familiar with. This is both preparation for the reader as well as for groen, our hero of the story.

I didn't think I had to spell this out :(
 
I didnt realise this thread was still going on! Sort it out man! Failing that someone else go there and poach her - This will be a valuable life lesson for not acting fast enough
