I'd like to apologise for ever commenting or even thinking "why is he/she on the road and not using that perfectly good cycle path over there".

I've been cycling to work and back for 3 weeks now, for the last 3 days i've had to play "dodge the parents going to school" including 2 different people on 2 days stopping on the bike painted on the floor and smiling at me whilst i had to go around them on a the grass verge.

still, im not progressing to using the road just yet! too many nutters.

yea cycle paths are **** to much idiots walking 3-4 abreast down them that go in a huff when you use your bell..

cycling paths on roads are usually full of sticks and twigs and any other debris that have fallen onto the road.

Every person in a van seems to think cyclists should give them right of way! I've had only one guy in a car attack me.

I've had about 7 van drivers shout out the window I can only assume they are plumbers or builder thugs.

I usually shout back and non of them have dared come at me bro yet.

I guess they don't have the balls to stop next to a 6"3 big bloke on a cyclist and hurl obscenities at me... instead they always wait until they have started driving past....

Cycling on the road is soo much quicker than on the pavements... For the first few weeks of getting my bike I started on the pavements, then decided one day to give the road a go and I will never go back haha... I work around 2.5km from my house and if all the traffic lights are on green it takes me around 5-7 minutes.

I quite fancy getting some Bike lane lights lol.

bike lane lights :O

lol wtf seems like they would just confuse or enrage motorists.
you can't just diy a bike lane as you go

dresses like a ninja. :)
uses bike lane lights :D

check the photos lol why is the guy all in black?

what they should make is a bus lane lights the kind cars aren't allowed in at all then you can have a whole lane to yourself :D

simple answer to that, boot meets wing mirror. as if its the other way around they would be hanging out of the car hurling abuse at you if not pulling right up to your back wheel and forcing you off the road.

He's talking about peds in the bike lane, not cars.
