I disagree. If you can't get out of bronze then you're bronze.
That is the ultimate truth, it's just people can't accept the fact they just arent very good

It's a joke when you win X amount in a row to get to promo and then just get people that go AFK or purposely troll. Like die on purpose. Then you lose promo and end up @ 65 points or so> Rinse and repeat. Jerks like this should be banned permanently.
And this is a twisted view of ranked people like to bash about, yes there are afkers and trolls but they are few and far between. People honestly cant accept that they didnt make promo for there own mistakes...and thus they never learn , never improve, they simply play the game rinse and repeat, followed by more crying. It's a joke when you win X amount in a row to get to promo and then just get people that go AFK or purposely troll. I still disagree that ELO hell doesnt exist. I shouldnt have to go 20 / 2 / 15 to make up for all the useless players who end up on my team. Truth is i ended up doing that consistently to escape bronze but im not good enough to do the same in silver yet.
Imo - in a team game - if your consistently being the best player in the team then you definitely deserve to climb the leagues, but it just doesnt work like that due to all the external factors (Afk's, bad players, trolls) - which inevitably seem to occur during the promotion series leaving you stuck for weeks on end![]()
One of my diamond friends is playing on his friends account... Now people moan about ELO hell and how they can't self carry out of ELO hell... He was bronze 5 last night, now in promo matches for bronze 1 lol

If you want to stop people trolling most of the time all you have to do is fill the role they are refusing to play. If you refuse to play certain roles you should probably learn too before playing solo q.
Thats how I got so much higher because funnily enough playing support is actually not as bad as people think.

heres a tip: Stop making excuses, and LEARN to play the game. Dont just play it , LEARN it.
I play every lane and am flexible in the lobby when it comes to choosing, I often take what others don't want. About picking up the slack, that is easier said than done. We had an Amumu purposely feeding. Not much you can do there.
Who is crying? Who is making up excuses? I am pointing out what I have seen. Winning 5 games in a row to reach promo and you moan about LEARN to play? You think those 5 games were won magically on their own? Haha. Yeah OK. And since you asked, I won "my" lane in those promo games. But at the end it is a team game in case you hadn't noticed. Good luck to you and your never ending streak of missing out on playing with the afker's and trolls. Not that it really matters because after all it is only a game. There is no end game.
Anyone can win their lane. If you was good you would win other peoples lanes for them.
You shouldn't have to be the best player on your team by a mile to actually go up leagues.
No one is saying you have to be the best "by miles", you just have to be consistently better.

Really?
The other truth is that to win most Bronze games all you need to do is avoid dying. This means buying a ton of wards, and pinging on the map for the less skilled players on your team to react and move out of danger. You can't control their character directly, but you can make them want to listen.![]()
