*** League of Legends ***

It's a joke when you win X amount in a row to get to promo and then just get people that go AFK or purposely troll. Like die on purpose. Then you lose promo and end up @ 65 points or so> Rinse and repeat. Jerks like this should be banned permanently.

I still disagree that ELO hell doesnt exist. I shouldnt have to go 20 / 2 / 15 to make up for all the useless players who end up on my team. Truth is i ended up doing that consistently to escape bronze but im not good enough to do the same in silver yet.

Imo - in a team game - if your consistently being the best player in the team then you definitely deserve to climb the leagues, but it just doesnt work like that due to all the external factors (Afk's, bad players, trolls) - which inevitably seem to occur during the promotion series leaving you stuck for weeks on end :p

If you want to stop people trolling most of the time all you have to do is fill the role they are refusing to play. If you refuse to play certain roles you should probably learn too before playing solo q.

Thats how I got so much higher because funnily enough playing support is actually not as bad as people think.

cometh the truth, accept it or forever be in bronze:
Who is Hafu? A Diamond player who pretty much got there by playing mid and support Zyra. yes Zyra.

And this is a twisted view of ranked people like to bash about, yes there are afkers and trolls but they are few and far between. People honestly cant accept that they didnt make promo for there own mistakes...and thus they never learn , never improve, they simply play the game rinse and repeat, followed by more crying.

heres a tip: Stop making excuses, and LEARN to play the game. Dont just play it , LEARN it.

Still waiting to see all the afk and trolls that you seem to get, i get maybe 1/10 games with a afk/troll rest are bad plays/me throwing.

One of my diamond friends is playing on his friends account... Now people moan about ELO hell and how they can't self carry out of ELO hell... He was bronze 5 last night, now in promo matches for bronze 1 lol :D

I hope he gets hacked. I play in Gold 1, ex diamond player and I hate the people that have been boosted. Yes also, if your in bronze/silver and remain there, i would say that's where you belong as every game can be carried out of them leagues.

I play every lane and am flexible in the lobby when it comes to choosing, I often take what others don't want. About picking up the slack, that is easier said than done. We had an Amumu purposely feeding. Not much you can do there.

Who is crying? Who is making up excuses? I am pointing out what I have seen. Winning 5 games in a row to reach promo and you moan about LEARN to play? You think those 5 games were won magically on their own? Haha. Yeah OK. And since you asked, I won "my" lane in those promo games. But at the end it is a team game in case you hadn't noticed. Good luck to you and your never ending streak of missing out on playing with the afker's and trolls. Not that it really matters because after all it is only a game. There is no end game.

Anyone can win their lane. If you was good you would win other peoples lanes for them.

Oh good, the elitists are back in town throwing there ego around

You shouldn't have to be the best player on your team by a mile to actually go up leagues. Its pathetic watching Diamond level players trashtalk people still learning the game and 'proving' its easy by beating people with nowhere near the experience they have. Its even more pathetic when said players are in the LCS and get paid to play it.

No one is saying you have to be the best "by miles", you just have to be consistently better.

I agree some people take the "carry harder" garbage far too seriously, carrying is not that simple and some games are basically uncarryable unless you massively out-rank your opponents. There is massive exaggeration from both sides, one says you should be able to dominate and win a game personally every time otherwise you suck and the other says they get an AFK, a troll, an insta-locker and a flipper handed retard in their team every single game.

The fact is, there are going to be games you can't win whatever you do and others you will just screw up, however people need to understand when these games are and not just paint every loss with a "I couldn't carry that" brush.

To put it in a few words, if you are capable of leaving advancing you will advance, it might take a while, but it WILL happen.

No one with any credibility or that you should pay any attention to.

As I said, you cannot and will not win your lane 100% of the time assuming you are playing people your own level or above, not every game is carryable and some times your team will just be bad or your opponents simply better than you, anyone who says otherwise is talking out of their arse or assuming the person playing is much higher skill level than their opponents. Improvement is gradual, carrying every game is completely unreasonable as a requirement to advance, which is why it isn't one.

The thing is Evilsod, there is a culture in LoL of people thinking they deserve to be in higher leagues than they are and blaming countless imaginary boundaries as to why they are not, anyone who has actually managed to get out of whatever league they were stuck in be in Bronze, Silver or even Gold (which is far worse than Bronze in my experience) tend to look very unhappily on these people because it lessens their achievements and attributes them to some sort of luck when in actual fact it just took effort.

As someone who has climbed out of Bronze (From low in Bronze, 4 or 5): Bronze players are terrible, toxic and at best non-feeders. When you join a game, concentrate on playing your best. Ignore all the other lanes. One good player can win a Bronze league game. I don't care if your Jungle has fed 0/7 by 20 minutes, if you play your best, this doesn't matter.

I main support which I'm pretty good at (certainly mid-Silver quality). Despite this I had no alternative but to carry to get promoted out of Bronze 1. You cannot win a game without one character doing lots of damage in the late game, either a strong AP Mid or Carry. There is a pile of dead puppies and kittens from all the Blue Ezrael builds I saw.

The other truth is that to win most Bronze games all you need to do is avoid dying. This means buying a ton of wards, and pinging on the map for the less skilled players on your team to react and move out of danger. You can't control their character directly, but you can make them want to listen. :)

Damn good advice that.
