No, you're still paying for a bundle that includes a game :).

I think it's a pretty good move though, I kind of wish the PlayStation would have shipped with a code that you can redeem for a game out of a two or three at release.
 
Well, another way of looking at it is that even with buying FIFA 14 and the PlayStation 4 it's still less money than the xbox bundle that includes FIFA 14, in fact, with an extra controller it's only £15 more expensive.

And you could also say that if you wanted to get the exact same bundle on the PS4, it would actually cost more than the Xbox deal as you need to buy the PS Eye as well ;)

I wouldn't use the Kinnect (and haven't on my xbox 360) and I haven't used the move on my PS3 and wouldn't use the Eye, so it's a redundant piece of kit.

If the PlayStation 4 came with an Eye included (as long as it was required like the xbox) I wouldn't take it out of the box.

No because he was already happy to pay £429 for the xbox without a game now it includes a game at no extra cost. Not sure what's difficult to understand about this.
 
Yeah, you wouldn't :p because you're not buying a PlayStation ;).

It's not a free game, you're still paying £430 for the bundle, same with if the PlayStation 4 shipped with a copy of FIFA, you're not getting it free, you're paying £350 for a bundle that comes with a game.

It's like the current console bundles, PlayStation 3 and The Last of Us, it's not free, you're paying however much for the console and the game!

How much is the game costing you? How much is forza costing you?

I have an xbox 360. I've taken advantage of a few offers over the years. Free games, reduced cost games.

I guess they weren't free/reduced either? Keeping in mind this freebie has been announced after initial pricing.
