I thought I was quite careful not to smash anyone out of my way :D

I did balls up all on my own at the very bottom of the track once, that was a bit of a DERRR moment.

Got punted off twice though, really annoying. :p
 
That's just Range Rover owners. :D

Mind you, when those yellow flags dropped at 34:35 after the major carnage.... I went into "**** or bust" mode. :D

I'd of love to have had a bash at that but bit far for a bit of go karting :) was more like dodgems at some points :) looks great fun and like the video's

Hah, nah that is Karting and I know I am not the fastest, what confused me though is I forgot about my early stop go penalty for overtaking under yellow flags.
Then when you passed me on the last lap or so and I then saw you went on to do the victory flag lap I thought I had come in 2nd place somehow during all the carnage that had been going on, at the time not knowing who was involved in it all.
I was really happy and then realised I was 2 laps down due to my almost 2 minute lap time on lap 16 when I was getting told off :( /embarrassing
 
Had that happen to me when we did Rye House! IIRC I qualified 1st and was leading the way the whole race, until I put 4 tyres on the grass and they called me in to the pits for what felt like a life time.

Getting told off is not fun :D
 
The whole thing was very uneventful for me, I didn't even spin out! Had a few nudges with other drivers but that's about it.. Whether I wasn't trying hard enough, or trying too hard, who knows :D but it was good fun a) trying to better myself around the track and b) watching all the carnage :D

I had a few tussles with number 15 I think, although I can't really remember most of the numbers I had more than a passing "moment" with. I was number 16 if anyone remembers anything?!

I could tell that Fran was improving as the race went on as well - although it amused me the number of times she span out in front of me ;) I didn't really need to try and overtake as I thought to myself "oh she'll spin out soon...... yep there she goes" hehe, you did well though :)
 
I'd just like to throw in my thanks to Janesy for the organisation as well! What a great event, made all the sweeter for my "2nd Loser" trophy. Good effort on those!

Had a few minor tussles through the event. Apologies to SoliD for our coming together on lap 2. Clearly I'm a little "rusty" with my racecraft. Totally my fault. Above and beyond that had some great racing, most notably with Mario in kart 25. Sure was a close finish for us in 2nd, 3rd and 4th after our 50 lap mission!

Great stuff recording that "trophy" moment on the M25 Invader ;)

I seem to have acquired the usual next day aches a day late and still can't walk properly / without some pain, glad I only have a short walk to work. Still, can't complain, was all good fun and I didn't end up out my kart. :p

Watched the videos last night, interesting to see the lines people took around the circuit. I took very similar lines to Taggart and was lapping close to his pace I think, up until my 4:18 lap. :D
I could have sworn that I got lapped by both camera karts but I couldn't spot myself in any of the videos, until Solid's track walk so maybe that was only in quali.

Great videos though guys, glad that they let cameras on now, tempted to get myself one for future karting and TDs. :cool:
