For those who are using/planing to use these rigid acrylic tubing, what coolant/liquid do you use in your loop?

Are you aware of the warning by Primochill about the use of Ethylene Glycol based liquid?

From Primochill web site;
Warnings/Cautions:
With the use of different components, materials, fluids, and flow rates, results may vary with the appearance of your tubing. Rigid Acrylic Tube is designed to work with a large variety of cooling components, however the use of alcohols, Ethylene Glycol and as well as any other harmful chemicals is strictly prohibited and will void your warranty. PrimoChill is not responsible for any damage caused by or when using this product. Please use at your own risk.

I like this a lot but this warning will prevent me from using X1 or EC6 coolants. So what do you use?

I think this is going to be one for the mayhems rep to answer as no doubt they have done their own testing.

X1, pastel, aurora doesn't use glycol (i cannot confirm any of XSPC any more as they have now moved every thing to china). Xt1 is glycol based and since primochills own fluids use glycol it kinds of makes us all laugh a lot. Glycol will not cause an issue unless its cheap tubing.

Thanks for the clarification Mayhems! I will use X1 then(because I like clear stuff) :)

So specific, thanks primochill. I will definitely buy your tubing now so I can put my very expensive computer parts at risk.

My OP was not intended to bash any manufacturer. I have quoted the web site just to ask what liquid to use.

Looks like when I get mine through from.... Another source... Il be back on pastel then!

At the moment I'm using your ultra pure with orange dye Mike, will that be sufficient? With the silver coil etc?

I best add. were not 100% sure if pastel will work fine if any one has a few mills off cut left over i can post them out some for free to test for us. All they would need to do it put it in a glass and leave it on the side for a few weeks and let us know. or they could send us a sample of tubing and let us test it out full. We would only need 1" and ill send them a free bottle of liquid of there own choosing as a thank you.

Send me a message in trust and i'll chop a bit off.

I have to say that I did not even think to check if certain fluids would be ok.
Mine is full of Mayhems X1 Blood Red Coolant.
How would I be able to tell if its a problem?
What is likely to happen if there is a problem?

Mayhams;
I don't intend this in a derogatory way, but if you were to do some tests on your CLEAR range of X1 and its effect on these rigid tubing, how much would it set you back?
I may be interested in "sponsoring" you just because I would like to know if I can use these in combination with out any adverse effects.

Clouding is ok, I just change the tubing and never get them again, but if it brittle and crack it may cause more harm to my components :)
If I have to pay a pro to do the work I can't I am more than happy to do that, I will have more luck discussing this with you than with Primochill(I think).

It is clear that your products are good and recommended every where, RIgid tubing looks good and I just want to make sure the combination does work well without issues.
