Focus Alloy Wheels

Right.

The lower wishbone mounting bushes look very worn. Possibly split as the edges are frayed. However, I don't think these are causing the problems. They probably could do with changing but I'll get round to that when I've sorted the wobble. On the subject of this, can you just buy the bushes or is the lower arm and mount a complete assembly as all I can find is this? Ford Parts

I've swapped the wheels from the front to the back and now the wobble has gone, however the car vibrates at speed indicating that one or both of these wheels are the issue.
So tonight, I'm going to swap them individually to the front to see which one (or both) instigates a wheel wobble and then get a better tyre place to check the problem wheel(s) over.

See this Focus is a PITA, if there's not one issue there's another. now I have an intermittent warm start issue? Sometimes it will start PL. sometimes it needs me to pump the Accelerator Pedal to start it, is this an Alternator issue? I do hear it tick on cold mornings and wet days...

Diagnostics show no error codes

Funny you should say that! My car has the exact same issue! Every so often if the car has gotten up to temperature and then is left to cool for less than about an hour, it wont start unless I press the accelerator, but then it fires insantly.

As mine's an early Mk2 (55 plate), I thought it could be a firmware issue as it's done it ever since I've had the car and it's never gotten worse or better in the 20000 miles I've driven it. It could be something to do with the fueling at start up within a specific engine temperature range.

What year and model is yours?

Do any of your tyres have a slow puncture?

Either a wheel is buckled or imbalanced.

All tyres are rock solid with regards to pressure.

I think you're right. Or possibly a mishapen tyre but I'd have assumed that it would continuously get worse with speed not only between a range? I'll find the culprit wheel tonight.

I was informed the whole bottom arm needed replacing as the bushes were non removable items.

Whether or not so at 200 quid for the pair to be fully overhauled wasn't a major issue.

If you have swapped the wheels arund and now feel a vibration through the seat ether the balancing is out or at worst a buckled wheel.

As for mine it is a 07 reg zetec climate 2.0 16v petrol what model is yours? I bought it with 18k miles back in November 2010 and now it is on almost 39k

Nice cars to drive when they work but I think I want rid...

Incorrect, they are just a pain to refit, removing them is easy. Garages will prefer to fit a new wishbone with bushes already attached.

It's a 55 plate 2.0 Petrol Ghia but on 112K

I assume I couldn't fit the bushes into the suspension arm myself then?
