Serious question to all those who rage / smirk / laugh at those who don't believe the official 'story' :

What would it take for you (have a proper think not a quick quip) to believe it was a conspiracy as to say.. it was official proven that financiers conspired with big gov to carry out the attacks..

Fox? Official new government investigation, military paper release?

5TB of new video data was recently released from NIST under a law suit. Many fire fighters saw a molten lava running throughout the building and hear explosives .. experienced firefighters.. hundreds.

big business is pulling the strings and forcing the gov to not look into this any further according to many.

again i dont know, but its fair to question an event that shaped our future and continues to do so today ...

The ua flight 175 was a Boeing 767. At altitude of 850 feet it can not go 450mph. It is simply not possible. We have boeing on record stating that it is not possible.

One - the 530mph* is the

Typical Cruise Speed at 35,000 feet Mach 0.80 (530 mph, 851 kph)

Not maximum safe speed, nor even the maximum operational speed. The typical cruise speed, something that is the speed that it will normally be operated at because it's a good speed for fuel effiency and the level of wear on the airframe and engines.

There is also the fact that you can typically go a fair way over the "safe" speed before the aircraft suffers immediate damage (let alone the speed the operators expect aircrew to stick to, which is a speed usually chosen for minimum maintenance, maximum safety and running cost reasons - it would be a really poor design for a vehicle that is intended to carry several hundred humans if it suffered catastrophic structural damage the moment it went over the typical speed for it's altitude, for one thing if you're flying at the typical cruise speed, lose control and enter a dive you really don't want the wings falling off before you have a chance to pull out of it (a manoeuvre that will put the airframe under more stress than just the speed increase).

I would also point out that the take off speed for a 767 can be 210..

I won't even go into the question of how much the person on the phone actually might have known - she doesn't sound sure (and is a spokesperson, not a tech*), and the guy's own assumption of "250mph" which she laughs at is only about 25% above the take off speed of the 767 with a tail wind...

It basically sounds like the guy rang up the press office rather than anyone technical.

*IIRC the actual airframe is rated to something like another 100mph on top of that.

**for example she says "we don't have much on that" - which an aircraft tech (or even pilot would have), She also misquoted the companies own fact sheet for the 767, by basically stating the speed of 530mph at 35k feet was the safe speed, when it's an operating speed (massive difference)

I despair, I really do. Some people here clearly lack the basic skills of scientific research and reasoning we would expect from a 12 year old.

The people here advocating conspiracy theories like, faked plane videos, tomahawk missiles, and controlled demolition are, to be quite frank. Stupid morons. There is nothing more to be said.

Then live in despair or go about your business. I don't believe in any conspiracy other than one that hides a truth I only have an opinion which is like everyone elses on the internet fairly worthless ..

but as wrong as it is, I and the millions of others who think there was something not quite right that day are entitled to it.

Sadly not all opinions are worth the same. Some opinions are infinitely more worthless than others as they are clearly fabricated on the thinnest tissues of speculation and face-saving. There are many people who have invested so much time and effort into their opinions on 9/11 that they will never surrender even one shred of it, lest they lose face. These people should be ignored completely or discredited absolutely as they have lost the ability to think rationally.

Well that depends on what theories and evidence you believe they've subscribed to. The same can be said for many aspects of the opposing argument.

Or are you one of the "If they believe in one, they believe them all" kind of guys?
