I imagine like Shami said it'll just bring a message up if you try to enter multiplayer, I don't think they would remove the menu option altogether.
You access multiplayer using the character select wheel, your multiplayer avatar won't be accessible before that time. You could see it on the gameplay video they released a while back, said something like "73 days" below it.

Ah right, I remember now that you mention it. Think I saw it in the gameplay trailer where they switch between Michael and Franklin during the hostage situation.

Whacking my old SSD in the PS3

Didn't know you could stick SSD's in them, sounds like a good idea that.
We wont get a feel for it till we actually play, but the map is big if you look at the detailed analysis on GTAF, and all the scale threads you'll see that you wont find it small at all.
Especially when R* have already confirmed it to be bigger than SA,IV and RDR combined.

If you havent got any games/demos from PSN installed, it could be install data from other games, along with patches & updates.
Under Games on the XMB they will be listed under Game Data.

Well this is annoying, not played my ps3 in over 6 months (been playing blu rays no problem)
Anyway thought I would set it up on my desk and hook it up to my monitor ready for gta. It now beeps 3 times and the led briefly turns yellow and then flash red for ages quick google says it's ruined?
I have my Xbox but no live subscription so looks like I will be switching my pre-order to 360 and spending out on a live sub.

I'm not sure whether to pre-order this, or hope I can pick-up a copy on release day from Tesco's or Morrison's... My postie never arrives before noon, so I could be playing sooner, but I may end up paying more or not get a copy at all.... help!!!
