Hell!! \m/
Got my mates old bike, its silver and gears/brakes are a tad borked.

I am thinking.

Respray green (and maybe the back end another tone)

New handle bars/gear/brake levers

I wanna mount my phone in the between leg area (the bag ones that make it water proof), my garman GPS, a light or two and there'll be a controller for the back light.

At back a pannier, has a special brake light/indicators(a cable routes to the front) and back lights

Got a kick stand to do. Would not mind somewhere to lock it like an ancor in the shed that when knocked sounds an alarm.

What kind of bike is it?
By the sounds of things it's probably not worth spending money on new bits for it.

Not sure what all the stuff about lights is? Why do you need an external controller for a rear light? Also, indicators dont really work on a bike. The back of a pannier rack will be about 10cm wide, cars wont be able to tell which side you're indicating.

Since it appears to be more of a 'project' thread, how about you put up a picture of it's current state? Or at least tell us what make and model the bike is?

On another note, just going by the list of stuff you are intending on spraying, buying, fixing... you might already be in the league of buying a new bike or a second hand one that is actually decent to start with.

Echo the questions and advice by touch earlier in the thread.
