I have been offered a company car through my new job, which I need to source, but it needs to be as cheap as possible to run. I'm not too fussed about spec etc as long as is comfortable enough for about 12000 miles a year, Max 1.5 hours driving at a time. The lower the Co2 the lower my company car tax.

Any help, advice or recommendations very welcome ta.

Indeed, budget would help otherwise it will be anything from a 1.6 diesel Focus for £150 to a spec'd up x20d 1/3/5 series for 3 times as much.

Budget is really small. As close to £100 per month as possible - Also, 3 years with maintenance.

It's a new job, and I'm helping her to grow the business, so I really want to keep costs to a minimum.

I don't have any requirements for engine size, although pref a diesel for better mpg. Not in the slightest bothered about how many doors, boot space etc.

I don't know if you're likely to get maintenance included, but around £100 a month you can get something like a Seat Ibiza which won't be too bad.

The only thing you'll get for close to 100 with maintenance on a sensible 3+36 Will be something like a citigo or 107 etc. You couldn't pay me to take one as a co car.

If its to be maintenance included you're going to need 200+ for even a fiesta or really low spec focus sized hatch unless the company are willing to go for a 6+ or 9+ deal
