Indeed, the odd thing was PS3 was more powerful of the two consoles, publishers just couldn't justify funding devs to spend the xtra time wringing the performance out of it. That's not a problem PS4 has this time, it'll more likely be a financial decision, with the platforms pretty similar will a publisher want to pay for additional/different code and graphical assets unless they are quick, easy and more likely, cheap to do. Any exclusive PS4 DLC could give an opportunity for improved PS4 specific graphics etc though if Sony can put the deals together.
