I'm holding out for the PC release. There's no point me buying it on console cos ill just be longing for the PC version - better graphics and mods! It'll be worth the wait!
Besides, looking forward to Watchdogs (on PC), that will tide me over till GTA5 or at least until we get confirmed news about the PC release.

Maybe because he can be playing it next week and having fun which is kind of what gaming is about?

Because it's the same game you'll be playing on PC. Same game, slightly inferior graphics, but if you're like most of us that won't impact on the fun you'll have playing it.

Yes cos GTA4 was a great game on PC when it come out, one of the worst ports and also with ther added bonus of taking an hour of jumping through hoops before you could even play it...if it would run at all.
100% correct. The need to play a great game on better hardware outweighs my chance to play it next week.
Eh? I've had GTA 4 on PC since release and it ran exponentially better than the consoles straight out of the box.

.Millions less pixels per frame, less than half the frame rate, heavily compressed textures, lower LOD in pretty much every rendered object, 80% less foliage, etc. etc. etc.
I haven't even listed half the inferiorities and they are far from "slight"

I did not get it when it first came out. But now it is the best version you can get.
But is it more/less fun? Still the same game and you won't notice and adjust to the gfx in a few minutes anyway and not notice them as you actually play the game. Each to their own though I just know I'd rather play the game Tuesday and when it's released on PC play it again if it warrants it.
That's actually a sweet deal, especially with the 1/2TB hdd. Get Ps+, get the free games and spend out on loads of PSone classics, that's money damn well spent.
